How To Add Your First Network

1: Create an Account on TalkToBot

Click here to start. Our service is free and it only takes a few clicks. TalkToBot is used by many companies to deliver eCommerce bots, FAQ bots and many more.

2: Confirm your email

Press the link in the confirmation email sent to the address provided during registration.

3: Add Facebook Fanpages or create a WebChat

For Facebook Fanpages:
Authorize your Facebook account. All your Fanpages will be added to dashboard. Don’t worry, this doesn't turn on the bot yet. You can remove any Fanpages that you don't want to use. If you press the Facebook icon again all Fanpages will be added again.

For WebChat:
Add WebChat to your website. You only have to add a short JS snippet to your website. Read more

4: Monitor conversations

All future conversations with your customers will be displayed in the Conversations tab. If you added Facebook Fanpages also previous conversations will be loaded. However not all message types can be downloaded from Facebook. If you previously used bot or sent attachments those messages cannot be displayed. All messages after adding Facebook to your TalkToBot account will be displayed properly.

How To Create Your First Bot

Creating a bot is not only easy to do, it’s also super fun. There are many ways how you can design your bot. It can be strictly informative or very creative. You can design it from scratch or you can use one of our predefined templates.
Together we will go through the process of creating a new bot. It only takes a few minutes to set it up.

1: Create your bot from template

Go to bots section: https://talktobot.com/agents add press plus to create a new bot. Choose one of the proposed templates. Use the template that is related the most to the bot that you want to create. You will be able to adapt your bot later.

2: Change your bot settings

You can change basic settings of your bot including:

Bot status
You can turn bot on or off
Bot schedule
You can manage the schedule when your bot is responding and when it is not.
Bot timezone
Change the timezone that is taken into account for all settings that require hours.
3: Change fulfillment settings

Now that you changed basic settings, it is time to change fulfillment settings. Those settings depends on the actions that your bot will fulfill. If you chosen eCommerce template, then you have to provide information about your products and payments. For FAQ bot you have to enter the most frequent questions and answers.

4: Launch your bot

Go to networks section and assign bot to one of the available networks (those are the networks that you have added in previous steps).

5: Launch your bot

Everything is ready! It is time to launch it your bot. Go to settings and change status of your bot to push your bot live. Now when your customers message you on Facebook or WebChat, your bot will respond to them with helpful information.

How To Create Your First campaign

campaigns allow you to send mass communication to people that subscribed to your messages. It is very easy and can be done in few minutes.
Let's create first campaign.

1: Go to campaigns section

Go to campaigns section: https://talktobot.com/campaigns.

2: Create a new campaign

Press on the button "Create Campaign". Step by step form will guide you through.

3: Choose RSS or Regular campaign

Enter a campaign title. Title is for your use only, it won't be displayed to your customers. Choose between RSS and Regular campaign.

4: RSS campaign

RSS campaign allows you to send your subscribers a message each time now content is added to RSS feed.

5: Add RSS Source

Press "Add new source" button.

Choose RSS type, provide a link to RSS channel and enter RSS title (Title is for your use only, it won't be displayed to your customers).

6: Choose audience

Press "Add subscriber list" button.

Enter audience title (Title is for your use only, it won't be displayed to your customers) and choose which fanpage will be used to generate the list. You can also filter users using available attributes.

7: Confirm your campaign

Confirm all campaign settings. Your campaign is ready to send.

8: Turn on your campaign

Use the toggle button to turn on the campaign. You can turn it off anytime.

4: Regular campaign

Regular campaign allows you to send one-time message to your subscribers.

5: Create a message

Enter the message fields that you want to send

Send message immediately

or schedule it for later

6: Choose audience

7: Confirm your campaign

Confirm all campaign settings. Your campaign is ready to send.

8: Turn on your campaign

Use the toggle button to turn on the campaign. WARNING: if you chosen "send now" option it will be sent immediately.
